How TestNorth Builds Practice Material

Accuracy is a workflow, not a badge. Every production question must connect to an authoritative source, an editorial review, and a specific version.

Source first

We prioritize the Government of Canada, provincial and territorial governments, official licensing authorities, and legislation where appropriate. Third-party test sites do not establish our answers.

Independent writing and review

Writers use official material to understand the facts, then create original prompts, choices, and explanations. Published questions require exactly one answer, an explanation, a category, a source reference, a verification date, and a completed review.

Versions preserve history

Completed attempts store question snapshots. If a question is corrected later, the earlier result still reflects the version the learner actually answered.

Scores are practice signals

A Practice Pass or Practice Readiness value describes performance within TestNorth. It is not government-approved, a guarantee, or an official test result.

Corrections

Question reports enter a review queue. Source changes can be traced to every dependent question, which can then be reviewed, corrected, or retired without rewriting prior attempts.
